UX/UI Design

Role: UX/UI Designer

Conducted research and interviews with stakeholders and users, and reviewed the current process to create a seamless workflow that integrated the additional requirements.

National Christian Foundation

The National Christian Foundation (NCF) aimed to introduce a new method for grantees to contribute during their digital transformation. They required an interim solution that closely mirrored the existing process to ensure a seamless user experience.

Role: UX/Architect

A prototype was developed for testing purposes before finalizing the design and handing it over to engineers for production.

State Farm

State Farm aimed to streamline their payment process with a new mobile app. However, policyholders faced issues with incomplete payments and transaction uncertainties, leading to increased call volumes to agents and the call center.

Design Process

Understand: I begin by clarifying context — user needs, constraints, goals, and the underlying system. This includes reviewing existing materials, identifying gaps, and translating ambiguity into structured insight.Frame: I synthesize what I’ve learned into a clear problem definition. I map flows, identify patterns, and articulate the opportunities that will guide the solution. This is where complexity becomes direction.Design: I explore solutions through wireframes, prototypes, diagrams, and visual systems. I iterate quickly, test assumptions, and refine based on feedback to ensure the design is intuitive, scalable, and aligned with user needs.Translate: I convert design decisions into clear documentation, specifications, and narratives that help teams build with confidence. This includes instructional content, component guidelines, and cross‑functional communication.Deliver: I collaborate closely with development, validate usability, and refine details to ensure the final product is coherent, accessible, and effective.

My Instructional Design Philosophy

I create learning experiences that turn complexity into clarity. My philosophy is grounded in adult learning theory, systems thinking, and a deep respect for the learner’s time and emotional bandwidth.I design instruction that is structured, relevant, and immediately useful — the kind of learning that supports real decisions, real workflows, and real people. My goal is to help learners feel confident and prepared, not overwhelmed.

Aging With Ease Job Aid

Aging With Ease Mobility Routine

Many adults in their 40s and 50s begin noticing real changes in their bodies—morning stiffness, slower movement, or discomfort during activities they used to do with ease. Yet most mobility resources are aimed at much older adults, leaving this age group without guidance that feels relevant or aligned with how they see themselves. Drawing from my own experience navigating these midlife shifts, I created this job aid to offer a simple, approachable mobility routine that supports aging well without labeling the user as “senior.”Designed in Adobe Illustrator, the one‑page job aid provides a clean, visual sequence of low‑impact movements that can be used on their own or as a complement to existing workouts like cardio or strength training. The routine is organized around three pillars of aging well and focuses on easing stiffness, improving joint comfort, and preparing the body for more demanding activities. The movements require no equipment and are presented with clear visuals and plain‑language cues to reduce cognitive load and increase confidence. The final resource is warm, relatable, and practical—created for midlife adults who want to stay active, protect their bodies, and maintain the freedom to do the activities they love. It’s designed to help learners feel more capable in their everyday movement and more confident returning to or continuing the workouts that matter to them.

Wealth Accumulation Course

Wealth Accumulation

Many adults want to build wealth but feel overwhelmed by financial jargon, inconsistent advice, and the belief that wealth is only possible with a high income. I created this Rise 360 course to simplify the process and give learners a clear, approachable framework they can actually follow. The course introduces the three pillars of wealth—Stability, Growth, and Protection—supported by a six‑step path that shows how small, consistent actions compound over time.To design the learning experience, I used a visual, step‑by‑step structure that supports adult learning and reduces cognitive load. Each section focuses on one key concept, supported by simple graphics, plain‑language explanations, and practical examples. The result is a clear, confidence‑building resource that helps learners understand how wealth is created, how to build stability first, and how to use automation and consistency to make progress. It’s designed to empower people at any income level to take meaningful steps toward long‑term financial security.

Residential ADU Site Plan — Conceptual Placement Study

This conceptual site plan explores the placement of a 640 sq ft accessory dwelling unit (ADU) on a residential lot in Gwinnett County. Using publicly available zoning data and dimensional estimates, I analyzed setbacks, access, privacy, and spatial relationships to determine feasible placement options. Multiple scenarios were evaluated before selecting a layout that balances privacy, access, and site constraints. This project demonstrates my ability to interpret zoning requirements and translate technical information into clear, visually communicative plans — even without a formal survey.

Conceptual study based on zoning research. No formal survey used.
